Cashmere, wool or a blend?
Pure cashmere is the softest and warmest for its weight, as in Loro Piana's Serbelloni turtleneck. A wool and cashmere blend, like The Row's Sibem and Ophelia, is soft but a little more hard-wearing. Ribbed wool, like Chloé's Henley sweater, holds its shape.
