A perfectly pretty pink palette is such a gorgeous choice for a summer wedding. We love the colours and style incorporated in this inspirational shoot at Hathaway Ranch in California. The accents of fresh greenery together with pinks and oranges, combined with a lovely natural rustic touch make this shoot simply breathtaking.
A strapless, lace layered dress was chosen for the beautiful bride, with a ruffled trumpet, floating out to a cute train. Layers of gorgeous tulle created large roses on the skirt, adding beautiful detail to the dress.
A short veil with beautiful appliquéd embellishment was teemed with loosely styled hair, a lovely combination that worked well to keep the attention on the fabulous dress.
A summer wedding calls for a light suit, which worked perfectly against the bright colour palette. A soft, pastel palette may have washed out the tan suit, but here it really compliments the colours.
A cute buttonhole with snapdragons, greenery and kumquats may seem a little different, but it works perfectly, adding a splash of colour to the neutral combination.
Pretty pink dahlias, fresh green poppy heads and tiny white snapdragons made a fabulous display. Using different greenery keeps the displays interesting, marrying complimentary textures to accent the florals.
Rustic wooden chairs and tables really made the colourful florals pop. With simple candles and vintage crockery, the tables were stunningly simple and effortlessly beautiful. Colourful yellow lemons and orange kumquats livened up the floral displays and tables were left naked, with just a touch of neutral colour in the napkins.
In keeping with the theme, stationery was kept simple and fresh, with pink accents and floral artwork. We adore the calligraphy script which dominates the invitations, and follows through to the menus on the tables.
A cute two tiered drip cake was adorned with colourful fare. Decadent macarons, berries and fruit decorated the white cake, along with a pastel pink drip – such a gorgeous mixture that really made a fabulous impact. Sweet little semi naked cakes adorned a dessert table – delicious!
