Such a beautiful day…
Erica and Michael chose a perfectly pretty venue for their wedding. With passions for travelling, movies and good food, the couple chose a scenic outdoor ceremony as well as weaving some Hollywood style sparkles into their reception. We love the pretty, simple style they chose and the pastel palette that accompanied their day.
Erica chose a beautiful mermaid style gown, with elegant lace appliqued bodice and sweet pearl waistband. Perfect for a summer garden wedding, the overlaid lace tumbled down onto the train and complimented the simple cascading veil. Erica chose gorgeous blue Audrey Brook shoes for a fun pop of colour under her dress.
Michael sported a fabulous black tux, complete with bow tie and shiny black Christian Louboutin shoes with trademark studying to add a touch of luxury.
The wedding party
For the girls – pretty lilac chiffon gowns, strapless, with a sweetheart neckline. These complimented the florals perfectly, picking out the soft tones. The maid of honour stood out in a gorgeous dusky grey-blue dress. For the guys – chic and stylish black tuxedos – perfectly sophisticated.
The couple chose a pretty pastel palette of pink and lilac, with the bridesmaids carrying smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet. Roses and hydrangeas sat prettily side by side to create a breathtaking display.
The aisle was adorned with matching flowers, and then at the reception, table centrepieces stood proudly in elegant glass vases. Glass vases are such a good idea for raising large centrepieces up, so guests can still see each other! Matching florals also decorated the intricately hand-piped cake.
The ceremony took place outside, in a quiet garden at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in New Jersey. Simple white chairs and a few florals filled the space, as nature provided the elegant, lush green foliage backdrop.
Gorgeously decadent, the couple chose The Grove in New Jersey as their reception venue – with the most opulent sparkling chandeliers! They then accessorised the space with pretty pastel florals and gold chairs. The place settings were kept simple to let the sparkles do what they do best!
Erica and Michael cut a classic tiered wedding cake, beautifully piped and decorated with matching florals.
Music and plenty of dancing meant guests were on their feet for the night. After the couple’s first dance, the dance floor was full for the whole celebration.
Such a gorgeous day, full of family and fun. Congratulations Erica and Michael!
