We were so disappointed not to be able to make it to The Patesseria launch earlier in the year, but once we’d heard all the delicious details of the night, we just had to share it with you!
The Patisseria was birthed out of the desire to create delicious patisserie and present them in the most beautiful and elegant way. It features a collection of French style patisserie with gorgeous florals and styling. As the brainchild of Fen from MonAnnie and stylist Alex from Alexandra Rose weddings, the aim is to take you on a journey of your senses with a carefully selected balance of flavours, textures and ambience.
On Thursday the 21stof February 2019, The Patisseria was formally launched at an elegant soiree in London.
The 5 star St Pancras Renaissance hotel steeped in history was the perfect host for the event. Re-born to become one of London’s most elegant venues, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel was originally designed to stimulate the kind of audacity, creativity and business brilliance that typified Victorian events and grand celebrations. Now it provides a stunning backdrop for intimate meetings or extravagant affairs.
The grand staircase provided the perfect surroundings for the drinks reception. It was adorned with beautiful spring flowers by London florist Shilpa Reddy flowers. Guests were welcomed with Champagne and delicious canapés by the hotel chef and were treated to a magical performance by harpist Isabella Asbjornsen
Guests were then ushered into the hotel’s magnificent Ladies smoking room where the Patisseria was unveiled.
The Patisseria was styled with a colour palette of pale blue and peachy tones with highlights of gold and hints of navy blue, creating a soft, elegant and romantic feel.
Following a welcome speech by MonAnnie and Alexandra Rose Weddings, guests were invited to sample the full spread of The Patisseria.
The collection of 18 different patisserie options included:
Chocolate and hazelnut mousse domes
Smoked salmon profiteroles

The Bridal Paperie who created the beautiful invitations also made some elegant name cards for the patisserie.
An acoustic quartet, The Travelling Hands, got the guest grooving with their funky interpretation of new and classic tunes. Magician Mariano Noriega wowed everyone with his talent. The Love from Mwai team were at hand to attend to the guests every need.
