Dazzle guests with some Oscars glamour
Your wedding should be as dazzling as any Hollywood awards night. One of our trusted suppliers, Tees Bakery, along with event planner Anaiah Grace recently styled an Oscars party at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire – have a look at their gorgeous images for some inspiration and to see how you can add a touch of glamour to your day.
Creating a cocktail of glamour, drama and elegance, a Hollywood themed event has it all. Your colour palette surely should include rich reds, luxurious golds and chic black – very dramatic and utterly decadent!
Using a bold, single colour for your florals on the tables adds drama and really makes a statement.
Gorgeous sparkling tablecloths really make an impact and ensure that the black accents aren’t overwhelming.
A quartet of cakes makes a beautiful dessert table. The centrepiece of this celebration was a six-tiered creation, with its own theatre stage and hand painted roses as the backdrop. The masterpiece of this cake was the hanging chandelier, with working lights!
24 carat gold leaf surrounded the second cake, with a cut out through the third tier and adorned with sugar roses and berries.
Sheer glamour for the third cake – all gold with black pearls and sugar work.
The Cascades of roses and berries tumbled down the fourth cake – chic and stylish in black and gold.
Cute clapperboards make a super fun way of identifying your tables.
And of course, candles add glamour and plenty of atmospheric sparkle. We love the floating tea lights in tapered glasses. Just adding little touches, like a ribbon around each glass, can take your table to another level.
