The season for peonies is nearly over, so we thought we’d celebrate this luscious flower with a full feature on wedding peonies!
Peonies come in a rainbow of colours, from pure white to vibrant fuchsia, rust orange to pale peach; these fat flower friends look gorgeous in structured bouquets, wild arrangements and garlands. I adore the ruffled layers of abundant petals, and they look gorgeous by themselves or mixed with roses, sweet peas and green or grey foliage.
I think peonies are a perfect wedding flower – versatile, beautiful and heavenly scented. Here are some of my favourite peony creations.
Gorgeous in vibrant coral, peonies make a striking display, a magnificent feature arch or add a pop of colour to a white table – perfect for this year’s Pantone colour of the year – Living Coral.
