We wanted to share with you a real pre-wedding photo shoot by Surya Wedding Films and Photography, enjoy!

When we met Harry and Sukh, they knew they wanted a pre-wedding photographic shoot but were not exactly sure of the concept or where.

We organised to meet one day in June. We always include a Director and photographer from the team.  Our Director comes from a fashion background spanning many years, working with some of the biggest fashion labels and that is what makes our photographic shoots unique.

On the day we met, there was a thunder storm, the Sun disappeared and we were all wondering whether or not continue the shoot. Should we postpone, or push on through and work with the elements? We pushed on through – and it was worth it!

As we drove to our first beauty spot in the heart of the Kent countryside, the Sun broke through and before us was the perfect setting – a fresh field of Rapeseed with the dappled Sun bursting through the trees. The setting was beautiful and we spent a lot of time capturing those initial shots.

We then went on to the historical town of Rye, in Sussex where we took advantage of the cobbled streets, old buildings and the harbour.

The piece de resistance however came, when on our way home we stopped for a few last shots after the Sun had set, parked up and walked into the dunes of Camber Sands.

Our team worked wonders with various strobist lighting techniques enabling us to achieve a stunning night shot for Harry and Sukh.
