At the storied Castello di Roccacilento, in the heart of Campania’s enchanting Cilento, Ellea Taylor, daughter of Duran Duran drummer Roger Taylor, married personal trainer Shiro Miller. The celebration was more than a union of two people; it was a soaring testament to heritage, glamour, and the art of destination weddings.
The wedding was brilliantly orchestrated by Campanian experts Iole Criscitiello (DWP), Wedding Planner and Designer, and Elisabetta Picardi, owner of Say Yes In Italy LTD. Iole designed and styled the event with her signature flair for iconic detail, while Elisabetta oversaw planning and PR, ensuring seamless execution at every stage.
A team of exceptional local vendors brought the vision to life: Ercolano Flora with Vincenzo Fontanella for floral design, FLC Service for lighting and audio, Anna Fiore for make-up, and Cristiano Basciu, renowned even among the British Royal Family, for a modern, effortlessly chic bridal hair look. Emanuele Bilancia designed the fantastic wedding dress.
The day was captured with cinematic precision by Rotondo Studio – Giuseppe Rotondo (official photographer), and Studio 24 Moving Photo, led by Palmer Vitaliano, who preserved the elegance and atmosphere in every frame.
The guest list was nothing short of extraordinary. The entire Duran Duran band—Simon Le Bon with supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes, and, of course, Roger Taylor—joined the celebration. They were accompanied by acclaimed actress Michelle Fairley, beloved for her role as Catelyn Stark in Game of Thrones, further heightening the star-studded sparkle of the day.
