Under a glorious SoCal sun, Yian and Jeff wed at The Lodge, Beverly Hills, surrounded by their friends and family. A perfect outdoor wedding, the day was filled with sunshine, love and a little mischief!
Yian chose a lace covered strapless mermaid style dress with sweetheart neckline. The perfect choice, it complimented her frame and set off the elegant lace trimmed veil that cascaded down the back to a sweet train.
For the reception, Yian chose a second dress – a simple and pretty white tea-length A-line number, with sweetheart neckline and wide straps.
She chose to wear her hair swept up, with pretty tendrils framing her face. Fresh flowers decorated the style, matching her bouquet and the florals adorning the tables.
With a string of pearls reaching round each ankle, Yian chose simple white shoes, with rose gold and crystal accents complimenting the pearl straps.
Matching the red and blush colour palette, Jeff chose a chic navy suit and red bow tie. His buttonhole matched perfectly, adding a pop of red colour to the blue suit.
Picking a blush and red palette, the couple added sweet daisies to the florals, adding a touch of the wild to the bouquet and buttonholes. Roses, dahlias and summery greenery brought together the fresh look.
An outdoor wedding calls for fresh flowers, natural colours and glass lanterns filled with blossoms – and lots of them. Yian and Jeff used their outdoor surroundings perfectly, adding fresh flowers to their blue base table linens for pops of colour and complimenting the surroundings with natural wood chairs.
Simple and elegant, the pure white cake featured blue piping, which stood out beautifully, and matched the florals, adding burgundy dahlias and blush roses along with greenery.
A gorgeous natural setting, cute photos of the couple and a delicious dessert table – the reception was a fabulous occasion. The bride and her brother created some mischief when, on attempting to throw him in the pool, she ended up in there herself!
The happy couple looked every inch the perfect newlyweds under the Californian sunshine.
