Box Entertainment

Box Entertainment is a Dubai entertainment and events company that began in 2010 as a small roster of performers. Today it describes a team of 119 professional artists and more than 1,000 events delivered across weddings, corporate shows and brand activations, with a dedicated silent headset division alongside the music and production side.

Darryl Rees founded the company and still performs as a DJ and MC, with more than 18 years behind the decks. Weddings are a core part of the work, from ceremony music and cocktail hour to the dance floor, and a dedicated wedding coordinator acts as the couple's single point of contact.

Couples can book entertainment on its own or as part of a wider plan. The team offers full wedding planning, day of coordination for couples who have planned everything else, and a hybrid approach in which Box plans the entertainment while the couple manage the rest.

The company works with Indian, Pakistani, Arabic, Western, Filipino and Persian weddings as well as fusion celebrations, and can provide different line ups for a mehndi, a sangeet and a reception. It services hotels and resorts, beach clubs, desert camps, private villas, rooftops, majlis settings and yachts across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.

The visual side is covered too. Box supplies 360 degree, mirror and original photo booths, festoon and fairy lights, LED dance floors, light up letters, special effects and sound and lighting, and its crew handles delivery, set up, technical support and collection at the venue.
