Photomad

Photomad is a wedding photography and film studio based in Nea Ionia, Athens. It photographs and films weddings and christenings across Greece and abroad, and describes its approach as emotional, joyful and spontaneous, with the couple as the main characters.

Each wedding is covered by at least two photographers and two filmmakers, so the day is recorded from several positions and candid moments are not missed. The studio works with up-to-date equipment and also flies drones for aerial footage at events.

The photography is led by unposed moments: bride and groom preparations, ceremonies, reception scenes and a next day photoshoot, which the studio gives particular weight. It says the aim is to put couples at ease so that they are themselves in front of the camera.

The films are made as cinematic wedding productions that record the feeling of the day, so that couples can relive it each time they play the film. Photomad has shot in Santorini, Aegina, Corfu and Hydra, and abroad in Florence, Budapest and Rome.

Beyond the wedding itself, Photomad makes albums in three ranges (Minimal, Elegant and Luxury, with fabric, leatherette, plexiglass, wood and liquid glass covers), supplies photobooths and personalised guest books, and publishes full wedding stories on its site.
