About Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea

A five-star resort on the northern shore of the Dead Sea, with outdoor ceremony and reception settings, a private beach and Zara Spa.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea stands on the northern shore of the Dead Sea at Sweimeh, in a Mediterranean village style set within eight hectares of gardens. It opened in 2000 and has 346 rooms and suites, nine restaurants and bars, a private beach and several swimming pools. Weddings can be held across its lawns, terraces and indoor event spaces, all with the water in view.

Outdoor settings include Sunset Arena, an open-air venue in the style of a Roman theatre, Palm Court, with its terrace and pillar-free layout, and Beach Lounge beside the pool. The private beach can be used for outdoor ceremonies, subject to confirmation with the resort's events team. Indoors, banquet layouts reach 450 guests, and the whole resort can be reserved for a private wedding. Catering is handled in house, from seated banquets to cocktail receptions and private dinners.

Zara Spa gives couples and guests a place to prepare before the day. The resort lies about 65 km from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, roughly an hour by road, and the historic sites of Madaba and Mount Nebo are a short drive away.
