From Audrey Ametis Weddings, is another wedding shoot set in the beautifully panelled St George’s room at The Lanesborough.
For this shoot, Audrey chose a palette of white and gold for purity, elegance and opulence. The very talented Miriam Faith created perfectly formed domes of gorgeous white roses for both the table and the bridal bouquet. The table was dressed in cream and gold damask linen and crockery, crystal and glasses from The Blue Ribbon. The cute fan-shaped cookies were from Little Fancies, Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium supplied the delicious gold jewelled cupcakes and Strawberry Sorbet provided the gold embroidered stationery. Rachel Vosper candles, mini bottles of Moet Chandon and exquisitely gilded chairs from Great Hire finished off the table.
The model was dressed in an exquisite scoop necked ball gown with capped sleeves by Zuhair Murad at The Wedding Club. Her hair was styled to perfection in an updo by the incredible Errol Douglas MBE, one of the UK’s best hairdressers. His team also handled the makeup, giving the bride a flawless and natural bridal look. The sparkling white and gold jewelled shoes she wore were from Emmy London and the huge balloon from the Balloon Girls gave the shoot a touch of whimsy. The bride looked very befitting for some of the stunning shots taken by the regal Queen’s Entrance (named because only the Queen is permitted to use that particular door) of The Lanesborough.
The delectable macaron and croquembouche tower made to exacting French standards were by Gourmandises and Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium created a dramatic white and gold Chandelier cake embellished with gold bas-relief and handmade white sugar flowers. She also made a white frilled gold edged cake and a gold crackle cake topped with gold leafed chocolate shards.
The magnificent engagement ring and matching wedding band were from Mayfair Jewellers. All this was beautifully captured by fine art photographer Jodi Hanagan through her magical lens.
Again, we can all agree that this intimate shoot styled to perfection by Audrey Ametis Weddings is set to be a timeless classic!
