Joe proposed to Rochelle at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland overlooking a waterfall. With such a romantic proposal, the wedding definitely needed to match.
Choosing The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, New Jersey, the couple created a beautifully personal day to celebrate their wedding.
In a fit and flare gown with overlaid lace and studded with crystals, Rochelle’s strapless gown featured a sweetheart neckline with layers of tulle floating down to a sweet puddle train. She chose to wear her hair down in beautiful curls, tumbling over her shoulders with sparkling chunky earrings peeking out. Rochelle’s shoes were a story of their own. Encrusted with sparkling jewels winding down the heels, their soles proclaimed, “I Do”. Her bouquet featured white orchids and roses – the chosen flowers for the day which also made up the displays at the ceremony as well as the table centrepieces.
Smart and chic, Joe chose a classic and timeless black tuxedo for the occasion. Matching all elements of the ensemble, he finished it with a contrasting buttonhole in the wedding’s chosen flowers – orchids.
The first look
We adore a first look, and Joe and Rochelle’s definitely did not disappoint. Set in the grounds of the Grand Marquis, by picturesque marble columns, Rochelle stepped down a narrow brick path to Joe. We just love the anticipation and excitement on their faces as they turn to greet one another!
The wedding party
Keeping a simple and stylish black and white palette, the bridesmaids added the metallic flash in stand-out gold sparkles whilst the groomsmen continued the suave black theme. The girls held small, hand tied bouquets of white hydrangeas and orchids with matching buttonholes for the guys.
The couple wed under a traditional Jewish chuppah, surrounded by family and friends. The petal strewn aisle led to beautiful floral displays of white and the chuppah decorated in the same. A huge crystal chandelier made the perfect decoration, sending sparkling shafts of light around the room. The guests’ chairs perfectly matched the metallic tone – adding gold to the ceremony.
A gorgeous meal, beautiful cake and plenty of laughter created a wonderful celebration under more sparkling chandeliers. The tables sparkled with more crystals in the centrepieces and stunning pure white flowers made up the displays. The couple even provided a cigar bar to celebrate their wedding day.
With so much happiness and celebration, we loved this real wedding! For more luxury real wedding inspiration, head over to our real weddings page.
