Villa Sylva is a private villa in the Kanoni area of Corfu, set among woodland on the coast with views across the Ionian Sea to Pontikonissi, Mouse Island. Corfu Town is about 10 minutes away. The villa has nine bedrooms, all ensuite, split between a main house, a guest house and a studio, and it sleeps 12 to 18 guests. It has been used as a film location, appearing in the 1970 film The Executioner and the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only.
Weddings are held from April to November. The gardens, outdoor terrace and pool area serve for ceremonies, drinks and receptions, with gardens of about 580 sq m and a pool area of about 1,075 sq m. The grounds also hold a swimming pool, five al fresco dining areas, a gym, covered parking and a private pier with direct access to the sea. Couples who prefer a church ceremony have two historic options close by, the Vlacherna Monastery and the Church of Pantokrator on Mouse Island. The villa is let to one party at a time, and couples bring their own caterer and suppliers.
