Two photographers, one story
Emett Joseph Photography is the work of Emett and Cass, a husband-and-wife team based in Seattle. Emett began photographing weddings professionally in 2019 and Cass joined in 2023. Both were born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and its forests, lakes, mountains and city waterfronts run through the portfolio.
How they work
The approach is documentary and story-led. On the day Cass takes the details, such as rings and vow books, and the quieter candid moments, while Emett photographs the getting-ready and looks for interesting light. They keep couples relaxed with prompts for posing rather than stiff direction.
Lodges, lakes and elopements
They have photographed more than 150 weddings across seven US states and two countries, from vineyard and lodge weddings to waterfront ceremonies, courthouse weddings and elopements in Olympic National Park. Their work has been published in Seattle Bride, Oregon Wedding Day and Washington Wedding Day.

The full gallery follows within 12 weeks, with unlimited downloads and printing rights. Wedding collections run from $5,000 to $9,500, with travel and taxes included, and elopements from $1,500.
