Grand Hotel Europe stands on Nevsky Prospekt in the centre of Saint Petersburg, beside Arts Square, the Philharmonic Hall and the Mikhailovsky Theatre. It opened in 1875 and its facade was unified by the architect Karl Rossi, while Fyodor Lidval remodelled the interiors in the Art Nouveau style in the early twentieth century. The hotel has 266 rooms and suites, from Deluxe Rooms to the seven themed Historic Suites on the first floor and the 350 square metre Imperial Suite.
Wedding celebrations are held in the Krysha Ballroom on the fifth floor, which sits under a stained-glass ceiling and opens onto a terrace over the city skyline. The ballroom takes up to 250 guests, with a seated dinner for 200, and L'Europe restaurant, in use since 1905, can be turned into a private ballroom of the same size. The Lidval Room suits smaller cocktail receptions. A personal wedding consultant, floral decoration and wedding cakes from the hotel's pastry chef are part of the service, and a bridal suite is available for the wedding night, with breakfast the next morning. The concierge can arrange a private box at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, canal cruises and city tours for couples staying on.

A hotel that has hosted the city since 1875
Grand Hotel Europe opened in January 1875 on Nevsky Prospekt, in a building whose facade was unified by the architect Karl Rossi in the 1830s. Its interiors were remodelled between 1908 and 1914 by Fyodor Lidval in the Art Nouveau style, and the hotel stands beside Arts Square, the Philharmonic Hall and the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

Weddings in the Krysha Ballroom and at L'Europe
The Krysha Ballroom on the fifth floor sits under a stained-glass ceiling approved by Tsar Nicholas II, and its terrace looks over the city skyline. Receptions of up to 250 guests can also move to L'Europe, whose Apollo stained-glass window and coloured-glass dome date from the early twentieth century. The Lidval Room offers a smaller setting for cocktails.

Dining, a bridal suite and a honeymoon in the city
The kitchen is led by an executive chef and a pastry chef who makes wedding cakes for up to 150 guests. A bridal suite is available for the wedding night, with breakfast the following morning, and the concierge arranges a private box at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, canal cruises and tours of the city.
