Edgardo Zamora and Revelry Event Designers
Revelry Event Designers is a luxury event design, draping and rental firm based in downtown Los Angeles. Edgardo Zamora founded it, and his niece Romina now leads the company as CEO and Head Event Designer. The business handles more than 1,000 events a year, from weddings and mitzvahs to film premieres, fundraisers and award shows.
Work is built in-house from a 120,000 square foot warehouse. A team of more than 100 carpenters, welders, seamstresses, painters, artists and designers makes custom furniture, fabric treatments, lighting and props, and stocks a large rental inventory of seating, tables, bars, panels, chandeliers and soft goods.

Revelry Event Designers
For weddings, the speciality is draping and fabric: ceiling treatments, ceremony canopies, stage backdrops, tunnels and tent draping, alongside custom bars, escort card walls, dance floors and chuppahs. Recent weddings include a ceremony beneath the Rotunda at Pelican Hill, a mint-toned reception in Palm Springs, a tented celebration above the sea in Malibu, a draped velvet tent in Aspen and weekends at Santa Barbara estates and Rosewood Miramar Beach.
Revelry usually works alongside the couple's planner and florist, translating a concept into renders, floor plans and a full-scale mock-up at the warehouse before anything travels to the venue. The team has also designed events in Italy, France, the Bahamas and Argentina, and Romina has led destination weddings in Cannes, Turks and Caicos and Anguilla.
How they work
From the first message to the day itself
- 01Concept
The team defines the vision first: theme, colour palette, guest numbers, date and the feel of the day.
- 02Visualise
Designers prepare detailed renders, visual decks and mood boards that set out layouts and specifications.
- 03Space planning
A full floor plan of the venue coordinates the design with the planner, florist and other suppliers.
- 04Presentation
A full-scale mock-up at the Los Angeles warehouse lets the couple walk through the space, with florals and lighting shown together.
- 05Production
Once approved, the carpentry, fabric and lighting teams build and prepare each piece, then clean, steam and check everything before loading the trucks.
- 06Installation and event day
The team installs on site, adjusts furniture, lighting and draping on the day, and removes everything after the celebration.
