Villa Tolomei Hotel & Resort is a 14th century villa on a 17 hectare estate of olive groves, vineyards and gardens, in the Marignolle hills a few minutes by car from the centre of Florence. Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and the Uffizi are close by. The estate has a panoramic pool, a spa with a sauna and Turkish bath, and a health club, and its own olive oil and wines are made on site. Thirty rooms and suites fill the villa, three apartments sit inside Villa Colombaia, a residence built in 1534 that can also be rented as a whole, and Il Conventino di Marignolle is the villa's gourmet restaurant.
Weddings use a series of settings across the grounds. The Fountain Garden, the pergola and the panoramic gazebo suit symbolic ceremonies and aperitifs, and the ancient oil mill takes indoor ceremonies and evening receptions.
