Best hotel in the Limassol
Best hotel in the Limassol area. The location at Pissouri Bay is amazing, and the whole place has a special feel. We thank Mr Scheller for creating this resort because we really enjoy the magic here. Food is better now than before, and the tavern has improved a lot. It is not cheap, but you can treat yourself once or twice a year. The only thing to fix is the very loud group bookings from a specific country. Some groups do not respect the place and can ruin the experience, so the management should avoid this in the future. Overall, a top resort and one of the best stays in Cyprus.

Venue Capacity

Columbia Beach Resort lets you choose your scale with confidence, because each space has its own mood, and the guest count follows the atmosphere you want.

For intimate celebrations, the terraces, pergolas, and beachside settings feel effortless for small groups, think a ceremony with your closest people, followed by cocktails as the sun drops over Pissouri Bay.

For a bigger wedding with a strong party energy, the resort can host up to 250 guests in the Oval Ballroom, giving you a true reception space with dining, speeches, and dancing, while still keeping the rest of the weekend relaxed and resort like.

Columbia Beach Resort pricing works in two clear parts: space hire for your chosen setting, then food and drink per person, so you can build something intimate or go for a full celebration without being boxed into a single rigid package.

Dining

Dining at Columbia Beach Resort feels like a tour of Mediterranean moods, each venue with its own pace, its own lighting, its own personality. It is perfect for wedding weekends because you can give guests variety without leaving the property.

Apollo Tavern is warm and rustic in the best way, classic Cypriot flavours, relaxed service, and that easy, convivial energy for welcome nights and pre wedding gatherings.

Bacchus Restaurant shifts the tone to something more refined and candlelit, ideal for rehearsal dinners, a smaller wedding reception, or a romantic dinner for two once the guests have gone to bed.

Cape Aspro is the sunset card, perched above the bay, open air, fresh Mediterranean plates, and a view that does half the styling for you. It is made for cocktail receptions, golden hour photos, then a long dinner that turns into late night conversation.

Venue Availability

Columbia Beach Resort is popular for destination weddings because it offers that rare mix, a true five star feel, yet intimate and relaxed, so peak dates move quickly.

For the best choice of ceremony time, terrace settings, and reception spaces, couples typically secure their date early, especially for late spring through early autumn, and for weekends that suit UK and European travel schedules.

If you want more flexibility, consider weekday celebrations or shoulder season dates, you still get the sea view magic and warm evenings, but with a calmer calendar and often easier room availability for guests.

Rooms

Columbia Beach Resort is suite led, which instantly changes the feel of a wedding stay. Instead of standard hotel rooms, you and your guests settle into spacious suites with a softer, more residential rhythm, terraces and balconies, calming tones, and details that nod to Cyprus without feeling themed.

For weddings, this is the sweet spot. The couple can create a private base for the weekend, morning coffee on the terrace, a slow glam session, then an easy glide into the ceremony. Guests get the same comfort, which means nobody feels rushed, and the resort starts to feel like a shared holiday, not just a one day event.

It is also an ideal setup for wedding and honeymoons, because the suite experience makes the days after the celebration feel elevated, quiet, and genuinely restorative.
