Domaine de Canaille is a villa above the sea at Cassis, inside the Calanques National Park, on the site of the former Revestel hotel. Renovated in 2017, it has 600 square metres of living space, a large terrace over the bay, a heated pool and a private path to the beach, and it is let only as a whole.
Weddings of up to 110 guests are held outdoors, on the terrace and in the grounds, with a tent put up in case of bad weather; wedding guests do not use the house. Twelve bedrooms sleep 24, and the village and port of Cassis are about a 15-minute walk away.

A former hotel on the Calanques coast
The villa stands within the Calanques National Park, on the site of the former Revestel hotel, whose guests included Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill, in the domain's own telling. It was renovated in 2017 and has 600 square metres of living space on a 60-hectare estate under Cap Canaille. A private path leads to the beach in under five minutes, and the village and harbour of Cassis are about 15 minutes away on foot.
A wedding held outdoors
Weddings of up to 110 guests take place outdoors, on the terrace above the bay and in the grounds. Wedding guests do not enter the house, so a tent is set up in case of bad weather. The domain accepts only two weddings of around a hundred guests each year, so as not to disturb its neighbours.
Twelve bedrooms for 24 guests
A master suite of 90 square metres with an office and two terraces sits on the top floor, with seven en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, five of them with sea views, and a twin room in the garden on the ground floor. Three more twin bedrooms are in a house at the entrance to the estate, one of them available only on certain dates. Each house sleeps at most 15 people.
Breakfast and the in-house chef
Fresh bread and pastries are delivered each morning for a traditional French breakfast, with a cooked breakfast as an option. An in-house chef is optional and can offer family cooking, table service, a buffet or a gala dinner.
Terrace and beach path
A large terrace over the bay of Arene, with the beach reached on foot by a private path in under five minutes.
Pool and hot tub
A pool of 13 by 5 metres, heated to 26 degrees from April to October, and a hot tub kept at 38 degrees all year.
Salons and home cinema
Sea-view salons, a home cinema with a giant screen, and a kitchen with a breakfast bar.
The Calanques outside the gate
Boat trips in the Calanques, kayaking, paddle, climbing, hiking, electric bike tours and yoga on the beach can all be arranged.
