Georgian townhouses on Portman Square in Marylebone, with four rooms licensed for ceremonies and 23 individually styled bedrooms
Home House is a private members' club in restored Georgian townhouses at Portman Square in Marylebone, with four rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, a Studio building beside it and bedrooms for wedding guests.
Home House is a private members' club in restored Georgian townhouses on Portman Square in Marylebone, a few minutes from Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Since the 18th century the house has been a place to live, gather and celebrate, and its sweeping staircases, drawing rooms and richly layered interiors carry that history. A second building, Home House Studio at 44 Great Cumberland Place, adds further rooms, and bedrooms in both houses can be booked by non-members.
Four rooms are licensed for ceremonies: the Front Parlour, the Eating Room, the Asylum Room and the Octagon Room, so vows and the celebration can take place in the same house. The Front Parlour and Eating Room are connected rooms with garden views for up to 70 seated or 180 standing guests, while House 21 can be hired in full with balcony and garden views. The Studio rooms, including the Secret Salon, Montagu, Portman and Seymour, let the day move between the two buildings. The club's chefs write bespoke seasonal menus, and details such as oyster shucking and ice cream trolleys are part of the offer. Twenty three individually styled bedrooms and suites in the main house let guests stay on, with breakfast the next morning and the garden, drawing rooms and gym included in a stay.
