Waterfront

Waterfront is a live band from Ayr in Scotland that performs at weddings, corporate functions and other private events. The band is a family-run business with more than twenty years of experience, and says it has played more than 1,500 events across Scotland, the UK and abroad, from weddings to award ceremonies.

The wedding set is built for the dance floor. It draws on pop, rock, country and rap, with mash-ups and medleys that join songs from different eras. The published set list runs from Queen, Bon Jovi and Oasis to Dua Lipa, Beyonce and The Killers, with Scottish favourites such as Caledonia and a Loch Lomond and Bohemian Rhapsody mash-up. The band says its musicians are experienced in performing for crowds at all kinds of functions.

Waterfront

Couples deal directly with the band from the first conversation through to the event. Sound and lighting are part of what the band offers: it describes lighting that can be themed to a couple's colours or vision, haze effects and strobes, and it works with a lighting partner for larger events. Its performances may include strobe lighting and flashing effects, which couples and guests with photosensitivity or epilepsy should take into account.

Waterfront is based in Ayr and travels to events across Scotland and the wider UK. Client messages published by the band describe weddings where the dance floor filled from the first song, including one at a Scottish castle estate for a couple who had booked from the United States.
