A Grand New York City Wedding: Our friends over at Cristina Verger Event Planning & Production sent us the most beautiful real wedding and we just had to share all of its gorgeous details with you! Taking place in New York, this grand day had all the elements of a fairytale wedding.
Wearing a classic ballgown style dress, overlaid with lace and embellished with the prettiest of sparkles, the bride accessorised with a lace trimmed veil that cascaded down her back and joined the beautiful long train. For a church wedding, a long veil and train combination is the perfect choice to make the journey down the aisle most spectacular! Removable elements meant a sleeker mermaid style dress was revealed for the evening celebrations.
A classic tux is always a winner and the groom’s navy and black choice was ideal. Blues are becoming more popular as an alternative suit colour to black, softening the outfit and providing some colour to the groom’s look.
Chic in black, the bridesmaids’ dresses were simple but beautiful. With dresses in a range of cuts the girls were comfortable in a style that suited them. Such a good idea if you’ve got a range of ages, body shapes and style preferences. Flower girls looked cute in their fluffy white dresses!
Pure white orchids created a simple and effective addition to the bride’s look. A gorgeous abundant bouquet accompanied her down the aisle with smaller rose versions for the bridesmaids. A stunning flower wall adorned the majestic Metropolitan Club, with over 3000 white roses and a custom designed flower monogram of Vietnamese magenta orchids.
New York City Wedding Ceremony
The vows were exchanged at the splendid Church of St. Ignatius Loyola where the long aisle was strewn with petals before the bride made her way down. Beautiful gilded columns and stunning architecture created the perfect setting for the couple to wed.
The happy couple chose the Metropolitan Club for their celebration. With white hydrangea and orchids decorating the dining room, guests were entertained with 18 violinists playing a Viennese Waltz before a pianist and band provided show-style accompaniment to the meal. An 18 piece band then had the guests on their feet and dancing the night away.
A fabulously stunning day full of elegance, luxury and happiness. Thank you to Cristina Verger for sharing this gorgeously lavish wedding with us!
