From hotel catering to her own company
Cristina Verger was born in Rome, was educated in Italy and New York City, and grew up in a family of hoteliers. Before starting her own company she was director of catering and sales at some of New York’s best-known venues, including Windows on the World, the Helmsley Hotel Group and the Harvard Club of New York, a background of more than 25 years.

Two offices
The company is based on Fifth Avenue in New York and has a second office in Rome, in Palazzo Marignoli on Piazza San Silvestro. The Rome office deals with local vendors and venues in Italy and removes the language and cultural barriers that can slow a destination wedding down. The company takes on only a select few destination weddings each year.

From the Plaza to Wyoming
The portfolio ranges from New York hotels and clubs such as The Plaza, the Mandarin Oriental and the Metropolitan Club to ranch weddings in Wyoming, mountain weddings in Aspen, and celebrations in Vermont, Connecticut, Montauk and the Hamptons. Abroad it includes Ravello and the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany and Lake Como, as well as Provence, Mexico and Costa Rica.

Team and films
Each couple is matched with a hand-picked team of photographers, filmmakers, florists and other creative partners from a curated roster. Cristina describes the approach as listening first, with flawless logistics underneath so the design feels effortless. Sixteen of her wedding films are on her YouTube channel, and fees are quoted for each wedding after an enquiry.
