We are so in love with this style shoot! Shot at Blenheim Palace by John Nassari and styled by Cranberry Blue, we just can’t get enough of the breathtaking interiors, fabulous decor and gorgeous colour palette. If you’re thinking of a country house wedding, here’s some inspiration to brighten up your day!
Blenheim Palace is a stunningly impressive historic English country house situated in Oxfordshire. Standing in over 2000 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown it offers lakes, formal gardens and the house itself – luxuriously designed and decorated, just as an English palace should be!
Crafting the décor, stationery and styling around the theme of marble luxe, the room could not have been better suited. Fusing the old and the new, wooden and marble panels, tiled floors and painted friezes sat alongside fresh, clean white tables and chairs courtesy of Great Hire, with glassware, flickering candles and sparkling centrepieces from Options Hire and 88 Events creating a fabulous atmosphere.
The colour palette
With so much authentic luxury, a light but luxurious colour palette of white and peach sat perfectly within the setting. Hydrangeas, roses, daisies and silvery foliage fronds came together to create epic displays. Giant floral centrepieces by Wildabout sat by abundant table runners, cascading to the floor in tumbling beauty.
Gorgeously luxurious laser cut acrylic was chosen for the stationery. Beautiful invitations by Intricate Creations boasted a silhouette of Blenheim Palace and the menus were striking in acrylic marble. They perfectly complimented the place settings, sitting alongside silver glasses holding flickering candles atop the shining mirrored table.
The dessert table
A vision in white, the dessert table groaned under the most delectable array of treats by Rosalind Miller. Pure white biscuits, tiered cake and sweet treats sat alongside marbled cakes and intricate piping. The white tones stood out against the dark panelling, making this cake table a definite show-stopper.
