Today we have a really glamorous wedding at The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel to share with you. The couple had been to a few weddings at the venue before and fell in love with it. Rather than use the traditional backdrop of the hotel (which they thought wasn’t very ‘them’), they brought in a boutique production agency, to totally transform the hall with lighting, set design and an AV package for music and speeches. All for just over £5,000.
Laura says: “I know people say their weddings are perfect, but I really believe mine was. When we arrived we were stood on the balcony of the hall, behind a curtain.
When the curtain was pulled back, I just couldn’t believe the transformation. I felt like I was in a dream. We still have friends come up to us and say it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever seen.”
Theo says: “When I saw how the hotel had been transformed, I couldn’t believe my eyes. We’re so thankful to everyone at Beyond Certainty and our wedding planners for making the day so special for us.”
Elia from Beyond Certainty managed the production of the wedding. He says the key is all in the lighting. “With clever lighting changes, we altered the mood in the room to signify the different stages of the wedding; mood lighting over dinner to moving lights for the band.
The acoustics in a room that size are always an issue, so we installed a PA system to provide perfect sound quality no matter where anyone was sitting in the room. Everyone could hear the speeches perfectly. It was a beautiful wedding, one we’re very proud of. ”
