Dream Weddings Europe

Dream Weddings Europe was founded in 2012 by Anastasiia Halla. The company is registered and based in Lisbon, with a second office in Marseille, and plans weddings in France, Portugal, Italy and Morocco for couples who are mostly based in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, the Middle East and Asia.

The team takes on up to ten weddings a year, which allows Anastasiia and a multilingual team to stay personally involved from the first conversation to the last guest leaving. Senior planners Nazaré Albuquerque and Léonne Ritter and head coordinator Sara Afonso work alongside her, with local coordinators and specialists in each country. The team includes French and Italian members who work directly with suppliers on the ground.

The work is large-scale and often multi-day: palaces, private villas, châteaux and historic estates, from Seteais Palace and Queluz Palace around Lisbon and Sintra to Villa Miani in Rome and a villa on the French Riviera. The company does not impose a signature style. Each design is built from the couple, the venue and the setting, covering palette, florals, stationery, table settings, furniture and layout.

Budgets are discussed openly from the start, including taxes, staffing, transport and the hidden costs of marrying abroad. Contracts are issued in the couple's name and payments go directly to each supplier.
