Meet the wedding planner
Anna Wilson and Greek Dream Planners
Greek Dream Planners plans destination weddings anywhere in Greece, and is built around the idea that the smaller islands and mainland locations often have no wedding planner of their own. Rather than concentrate on Santorini alone, the team works with local professionals in each area so couples can choose a private, less obvious setting, from beaches and clifftops to woodland, castles and chapels.
Anna Wilson founded the company in 2015, a year after moving from Kefalonia to England. She started it with three women of her family and still leads it, dividing her time between Greece and Lincolnshire. It remains a family business, and the team of four women brings knowledge of the Greek language, traditions and paperwork.
“Greece is not only Santorini!”
Anna Wilson, founder
The style is minimalist and modern: a less is more approach that keeps the focus on the couple, with effortlessly stylish, elegant celebrations. The company also helps couples combine the wedding and a holiday for their guests, drawing on a long background in hospitality and tourism.
Services are named after Greek destinations and can each be adjusted. They range from full planning, with venue booking, suppliers, legal documents and day coordination, to partial planning, elopements, a two hour advice session and help with legal paperwork alone. The fees are listed openly, with supplier and venue costs paid separately.
The company's recent blog posts include candid cost guides for Greek weddings, including a real villa wedding in Zakynthos in June 2026, which suits couples who want to see where the budget goes before they commit.
