Retreat East is an idyllic wedding venue with a variety of barns and restored buildings, all in a serene countryside setting, and this venue offers couples the perfect backdrop for their special day.
Weddings at Retreat East are characterised by their intimate and personal feel, with the venue hosting intimate small weddings or larger exclusive use options. This ensures that the focus is entirely on the couple and their guests, with no distractions or other events occurring on the same day.
The venue offers a choice of spaces for both the ceremony and reception, allowing couples to tailor their day to their individual tastes and preferences. We have several licensed areas for indoor and outdoor weddings so that you can celebrate with us all year round in any season.
With accommodation for up to 68 people, the bride, groom, and their guests can all stay on site, ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy the celebrations without worrying about transport or accommodation. You can also take advantage of the on-site spa, including a complimentary treatment for the bride and groom and exciting activities such as the fire pit, yoga classes or axe-throwing.
The venue also has an award-winning on-site catering team, who can create delicious, locally sourced menus to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

Let the party continue with our bonfire experience. Ideally situated at the bottom of The Farmhouse, you and your guests can continue your celebrations under the East Anglia starlit sky. This idyllic and unique experience can be tailored to your desires; a freestanding bar and festoon lighting is the perfect way to finish your evening. Toast marshmallows by the fire, sip mulled wine or dance the night away.
From axe-throwing to archery, from yoga to clay pigeon shooting why not add something different to your wedding package? Our selection of activities is excellent for both adults & children. Explorers can enjoy the selection of countryside walks right from our doorstep. Groups can revel in archery, axe-throwing and clay pigeon shooting.
