Cheryl MorriceFounder and wedding painterCheryl Morrice is a self-taught Scottish artist who paints in oils and watercolour in a loose, painterly style. She was born and raised in Fife and is moving to the Isle of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides, and she works from a home studio, taking commissions and selling work to buyers around the world. She began by selling from stalls in Edinburgh's Grassmarket, then moved into commercial shows and children's book illustration.
Her wedding paintings are made from the couple's photographs in her studio, or live on the day. A live painting can be a watercolour on archival paper or an oil on canvas, and it is delivered in a frame.
“Cheryl was absolutely amazing at our wedding & all of our guests loved their portraits.”

Her subjects are coastal scenes, sweeping landscapes, gardens, wildlife and people at work. Most of her ideas come from being out in it, and she often finishes the painting in the studio afterwards. She currently enjoys painting outdoors.
Her work has been shown with the British Association of Naïve Artists since 2019 and at the Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition in 2022, where she sold work. She has also exhibited at the Country Living Fair and the Ideal Home Show in Glasgow.
Hand-painted watercolour portraits of children, families, pets and special moments are made from supplied photographs, usually within four weeks, and sent securely packaged and ready to frame. She also paints house portraits and favourite places on commission.
