Samuel Lippke Studios

Samuel Lippke Studios is a Los Angeles wedding and event photography studio. Samuel Lippke grew up in rural Washington State, in a family of artists, and works in a mix of fashion, fine art and photojournalism. He leads the studio as its lead photographer.

His wedding work has appeared in magazines including Vogue, W Magazine, Inside Weddings, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, People, Southern New England Wedding and Bride and Bloom. He also shoots fashion campaigns, and his client list has included Farrah Fawcett, Nobu Matsuhisa, Lee Iacocca, Jenna Fischer and Danielle Steel.

The portfolio is built around full wedding galleries from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Beverly Hills and Hotel Bel Air, as well as New York, the Glenmere Mansion and a wedding weekend in Sicily. Settings range from chapels and walled gardens to hotel ballrooms, hilltop terraces and Jewish and South Asian ceremonies.

Travel is central to his work. Samuel has documented Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, the Philippines, Cuba, South Africa and the Caribbean, and sells limited original fine art prints from places such as Bali, Polignano a Mare, Tulum and Courchevel. He is available for premier events around the world.

Couples can order a printed album. The studio offers premium leather, jumbo, heirloom, modern art, Eversince and magazine style books, each starting at 50 pages with layflat spreads, with published prices for every size.

    Couples choose an album from the studio's collection, with layflat spreads, custom covers and optional boxes, and can commission limited fine art prints.

Samuel is a phenomenal photographer!

Samuel was our wedding photographer just a couple weeks ago. It was September in Los Angeles, when the weather is supposed to be perfect. However, the weather was far from ideal, it rained during our rehearsal dinner and was sweltering hot on the day of the wedding. Never discouraged, Samuel used the obstacles to his and our advantage, producing beautiful photographs of my husband and I embracing the elements. Samuel has both creative vision AND spirit, he captured our glow and elation because he brings a positive energy to the shoot that made him feel like a long time friend. A photographer cannot only rely on the composition of a subject, instead, what sets apart the great ones is their ability to make the subject comfortable enough to expose the beautiful and vulnerable emotions that they feel on their wedding day. Samuel is one of the greats and his photographs captured not just how we looked, but also how we felt. Rain, shine, or heat wave, I guarantee that Samuel's photos will transport you right back to that moment, which on the day of the wedding goes by so quickly, but thanks to Samuel is forever captured. We just received our preview and we can't stop looking back and the photos and smiling!

Couldn’t Have Asked for a More Skilled & Fun Photographer

After looking over Samuel’s amazing portfolio, my wife and I felt that he would be the perfect fit to photograph our wedding day. We are both absolutely speechless. Our photos came out absolutely gorgeous, better than we could have ever expected. Samuel is a true creative and took such a diverse selection of photos. He made sure to capture all the right angles and took the perfect photos of us and our party for our big day. He also captured the best candid photos as well. I would rate Samuel’s photography skills an 11/10. Not only is Samuel’s work phenomenal, but he is an amazing, fun individual. He truly made our wedding day that much more fun.
