Cottage-house wedding venue with a chapel and pool in Agia Sofia, Mykonos, Greece
A family-run group of Cycladic cottage houses in Agia Sofia with its own chapel, a pool facing the Aegean and a tavern for receptions.
Aletro Cottage Houses is a family-run group of traditional cottage houses in Agia Sofia, close to Mykonos Town. A small Mykonian chapel stands in the grounds, and receptions are held by the pool with the Aegean in view. The Rusty Ram tavern serves Mykonian and Greek dishes, and the cottages and suites let wedding guests stay on site.
The property grew from the owners' family land, which their grandfather began to farm and build on in 1950. Its houses are decorated in a Cycladic style, with built-in beds and hand-picked decorative items, and the garden is colourful and spacious. The team plans weddings, vow renewals and baptisms together with professional wedding planners.

Aletro Cottage Houses stands in Agia Sofia, 1 km from the Old Port and 1.5 km from Mykonos Town. The property began in 1950, when the owners' grandfather started to look after the land and animals and to build the family household. It passed through the generations and is now a group of traditional Mykonian cottage houses, in a minimal style that joins Mykonian design with modern simplicity.

A small traditional Mykonian chapel stands within the grounds, the setting for an intimate ceremony. Afterwards guests gather for welcome drinks by the pool as the sun sets over the Aegean, then dine poolside under atmospheric lighting and dance under the night sky. The team works with professional wedding planners, and the venue also hosts vow renewals and baptisms.

The cottages and suites have a garden or sea view, with free WiFi and a kitchenette in most. The Rusty Ram tavern serves dishes inspired by Mykonian and Greek cooking, made from fresh local ingredients, and a Greek breakfast buffet is served each morning. Guests can add wine tastings, cocktail-making workshops, cooking classes and olive oil tastings to turn the wedding into a multi-day celebration.
