About Lafodia Sea Resort

Lafodia Sea Resort is an Adriatic island resort on car-free Lopud, with 156 sea-facing rooms and suites, a private beach for ceremonies, two pools and the Waterhill Spa.

Lafodia Sea Resort stands on the wooded slope of Lopud, a small car-free island in the Elaphiti archipelago off Dubrovnik. The island has footpaths, gardens and beaches rather than roads, and the resort rises in white tiers above its own fine-pebble beach, with each of its 156 rooms and suites facing the Adriatic from a balcony or terrace. Guests cross from Dubrovnik in about 55 minutes by ferry or private boat.

Ceremonies are held on the private beach beneath a wooden arch dressed in flowers and greenery, in the gardens among the pines, or on the sea-view terraces, for up to around 180 guests. Dinner is served in the glass-walled Dalmar restaurant or in the multifunction hall, also for up to around 180, with Mediterranean and Dalmatian cooking and Adriatic fish and shellfish. Between events there is an infinity pool, a second pool at sea level and the Waterhill Spa of more than 800 square metres on the top floor. The resort runs as an operating island hotel, so a wedding shares the grounds with other guests while keeping its own settings.

Lopud is a small island in the Elaphiti archipelago, all footpaths, pine woods and sandy coves, with a horseshoe of beach and turquoise water between green headlands. Lafodia climbs its wooded slope in white tiers above a private beach, and every room looks out to the Adriatic. Dubrovnik is a ferry or private boat ride of about 55 minutes away.
