Stella Rheni
Listed 19th century villa in a hilltop park above Bad Godesberg, Bonn
Stella Rheni is a listed villa in Bonn's Bad Godesberg district, available exclusively to one wedding party, with views of the Siebengebirge.
Villa Stella Rheni stands on the Wacholder hill in Bonn's Bad Godesberg district, within its own park and behind a stately driveway. It was built at the end of the 19th century as a summer residence for the von der Heydt family, later housed a Jesuit boarding school from 1927, and has been a listed building since 2006. From the grounds there are views across to the Siebengebirge mountains.
A wedding takes over the whole building and park. Ceremonies, civil or free, can be held in any area of the house, on the Siebengebirgsterrasse or in the park, and the aperitif is served outdoors. Dinner is set in the domed hall, with an outdoor kitchen for show cooking, and the evening moves on to the library bar and lounge. The venue's own catering team provides the food and drinks, and its decoration team designs the setting. Tables can be laid for up to 220 guests, while smaller parties are served by the same layout. Celebrations may run until 4 a.m., and the estate has boutique-style rooms for 20 overnight guests, with further hotels within a few kilometres.
