Belleek Castle dates from 1831 and stands in open countryside at Garrankeel, near Ballina in Co. Mayo. It is run as a boutique castle for weddings, with period bedrooms, open fires and a Banqueting Hall that gives the day a historic setting.
Three spaces suit different group sizes. The Restaurant, in the former library of the manor house, and the restored nineteenth-century stables and courtyard both suit parties of up to 50. The stables keep their rustic interior brickwork untouched. For larger weddings, the Medieval Banqueting Hall sits in the stone-arched vaults of the former Belleek Abbey, which date back to the fourteenth century, and holds up to 200 guests. The gardens offer a backdrop for photographs, and there are further settings inside the house. A museum on site holds one of the largest private collections of Jurassic fossils and medieval armoury, and guided tours can be arranged for wedding guests. Exclusive use of the castle is available.

I cannot recommend the staff at Belleek castle enough. They went above and beyond for us to make our day special - Elaine the wedding planner is an angel. We had just over 130 guests which was a perfect number for the space and the photo backdrops available are unreal. The food was absolutely fantastic also!
