Masseria Don Luigi is a whitewashed Puglian farmhouse in the countryside near Fasano. The main building is historic, and the estate sets the charm of a traditional masseria beside modern amenities, so a wedding feels relaxed rather than formal. The estate is built to suit various wedding styles, from rustic to sophisticated. The spaces combine simplicity with a rustic-chic style, and the grounds sit among centuries-old olive trees, citrus and herbs. A turquoise pool, courtyards, gardens and an olive grove give the estate its character. The team works closely with each couple on a personalised setting and plans every detail, from décor to entertainment,.
Additional services, from décor and entertainment to planning support, can be added to the celebration. Weddings here suit a full weekend, and a multi-day celebration can begin with a welcome cocktails by the pool and end with a relaxed farewell brunch the next morning. Friends and family can stay together on site for a true wedding house-party experience. The pool and gardens are the heart of the masseria, a place where celebrations move at an unhurried pace. Ceremonies are held in the courtyard under stone archways, or beneath the olive trees. They can also take place on the terraces. Up to 300 guests can attend a ceremony. In April and May the countryside is in bloom and the olive groves are lush, which suits daytime ceremonies. October brings a quieter, softer atmosphere with warm light, suited to smaller gatherings and wine-filled feasts. Each part of the day, from ceremony to dinner, has its own atmospheric space.

The lemon garden is a fragrant, vibrant setting for welcome parties. The sprawling lawn and intimate courtyards link ceremony, cocktails and dinner, so each moment feels distinct yet connected. An alfresco banquet can be held in the gardens or the courtyard, with space for long tables, dancing and live music under the stars. A large glass gazebo sits amidst the olive grove, for indoor receptions or intimate gatherings. After dark, candles and soft lighting light the estate, and fairy lights flicker in the gardens. Entertainment can be live music, DJ sets or other performances, and music and dancing can continue late, with some sound restrictions after midnight.

There are 14 rooms, sleeping up to 34 guests, carefully restored to preserve the soul of the masseria. Rooms have whitewashed walls, vaulted ceilings and cool stone floors that keep them fresh in the height of summer, with neutral linens, artisan furniture, air conditioning, good bedding and en-suite bathrooms. The Bridal Suite is a spacious private suite with soft natural light and a terrace for morning preparations. Mornings start with birdsong and espresso in the courtyard, and nights end under the stars, just steps from the rooms.

Catering is in house only. The chefs prepare seasonal dishes from locally sourced ingredients, rooted in Apulian tradition and open to contemporary requests. Poolside aperitivo means chilled spritzes, local wines and antipasti of burrata, focaccia and just-picked vegetables. Banquets are laid with linen, candles and fresh herbs, with handmade orecchiette, seafood from the Adriatic and seasonal contorni. Welcome dinners can feature wood-fired pizzas, and there are tasting menus and dessert tables of pasticciotti and gelato, with wine pairings.

Even my husband’s grandfather, born and raised in Puglia, was shocked that such a place existed and kept asking how we found it.

My husband and I were married here in May 2024. We found Masseria Don Luigi after searching online for several months and made the trip to view a handful of venues in October 2022. As soon as we stepped onto the Masseria Don Luigi property, we both immediately knew that it was the one and we compared all other options to it. During our many planning conversations with Angelo, we had questions that were answered incredibly quickly and some special requests that he was able to accommodate seamlessly. Excellent customer service. When we arrived at the property for the wedding celebrations, our family and friends were shocked and so impressed with all Masseria Don Luigi had to offer (as did we). The space is visually stunning (making it the perfect backdrop for a wedding), the rooms were large and comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and the pool is one of the largest ones we saw, and we appreciated the shallow end for children attending. Attention was paid by all staff to make this an incredibly memorable event for my husband and I, along with all guests (especially those staying on site), which we greatly appreciated. Even my husband’s grandfather, born and raised in Puglia, was shocked that such a place existed and kept asking how we found it. We’ll truly never forget this trip and our time spent at Masseria Don Luigi, and we hope to return in the future as a reminder of our best day ever.
