A working organic farm of 38 houses and a farm-to-table restaurant between the countryside and the sea, close to Zambujeira do Mar, that hosts weddings on its terraces, in its gardens and around its pools.
Craveiral Farmhouse is an organic farm of 9 hectares in southwest Alentejo, between the countryside and the sea. It sits a short drive from the beaches of Zambujeira do Mar and Carvalhal, and four clusters of whitewashed houses, from studios to two-bedroom cottages, are set among an orchard, a vegetable garden and farm animals. A nature interpretation center of timber and glass, a terrace beside the pool and a restaurant furnished with Portuguese design pieces serve as the main event spaces.
Ceremonies are held beneath olive trees, in the gardens or in an indoor lounge, and the chapel at Zambujeira do Mar is an alternative. The FarmTable restaurant cooks from the farm's own vegetable garden and orchard together with producers from the Odemira region, and its wood-fired oven suits a welcome dinner the evening before. Medronho, Azinho and Cravo, three of the house clusters, have patios that can be closed off for an event. Between wedding events, guests can use the indoor and outdoor pools, the saunas, yoga classes and massages, or walk the Rota Vicentina. Pets are welcome throughout the farm.

Between the countryside and the sea
The farm covers 9 hectares in southwest Alentejo, a short drive from the beaches of Zambujeira do Mar and Carvalhal. Four clusters of houses, an orchard, a vegetable garden, farm animals and a nature interpretation center sit within the grounds.
Ceremonies outdoors or in a lounge
Ceremonies can be held beneath olive trees, in the gardens or in one of the indoor lounges. Couples may also use the chapel at Zambujeira do Mar for a chapel ceremony.

The FarmTable restaurant cooks with produce from the farm's own vegetable garden and orchard and from producers in the Odemira region. Wood-fired oven dinners suit a welcome evening, and a poolside brunch can follow the wedding.

The food was amazing
Came for a wedding and were blown away. The accommodation is amazing, the food was amazing and so fresh, and the rooms were like a cosy little home with everything you need. The pool was a definite highlight, and we loved the wood-fired sauna.
