About Tintswalo Lodges

Tintswalo Atlantic is a boutique lodge of ten suites between Chapman's Peak and the Atlantic Ocean, hosting weddings of up to 120 guests on the pool deck, main lodge and a clifftop lookout.

Tintswalo Atlantic stands at the base of Table Mountain National Park on Chapman's Peak Drive in Hout Bay, with the mountainside rising behind it and the Atlantic Ocean breaking below. Eight island suites and two mountain suites are linked to the main lodge by a raised boardwalk, built from wood and glass among the fynbos. Each suite is named after an island and decorated to reflect it, and all have private decks, wood-burning fireplaces and underfloor heating.

Weddings can be held at four places: the Look Out Point, a short walk from the hotel with open-air views of the Atlantic and the Sentinel; the pool deck and guest lounge built on the rocks beneath the mountain; the main lodge, where a retractable pergola frames chandeliers and drapes; and the dining room, whose fold-away doors open to the outdoors. Packages run from a two-night stay for up to 6 guests to exclusive use of the lodge for 70 to 120 guests. The Chefs Warehouse restaurant creates the menu, from seated courses to circulated cocktail-style service, and the lodge's general manager coordinates each wedding.
