One wedding a day, five settings

Torre Sever is a private wedding estate on the C-59 road at Caldes de Montbui, near Barcelona. It hosts one wedding a day. The grounds, the glass-walled hall, the kitchen and the venue team are given to a single couple and their guests, from the ceremony to the last song of the night. No other celebration shares the grounds or the team.

The day is built as a sequence of five places. The ceremony takes place in the forest. Drinks follow in the gardens and a covered pavilion, for up to two hours. Dinner is served in a hall with large glass windows or outdoors among the trees, and the evening ends in a separate space with a DJ.

A wedding here comes with fixed terms. There are no bedrooms on the estate. Catering is by the estate’s own kitchen only. And the 2027 prices assume at least eighty adults. Each is covered below, after the setting and the day itself.

The Vallès and the town beside it

Caldes de Montbui is a spa town in the Vallès Oriental, in the province of Barcelona, set between the Sant Llorenç de Munt and Montseny massifs. Thermal water rises there at more than 74 degrees Celsius, among the hottest springs in Europe, and the Romans built a medicinal spa around it. The Termes Romanes and the layout of the old town date from that period, and by the early nineteenth century the town was again a major spa, with seven bathing establishments. A wall is documented around the town by 1102, and in the thirteenth century its Jewish quarter ranked among the most prestigious in Catalonia. In the fourteenth century Caldes became the capital of the Vegueria of the Vallès, and in 1445 Alfons V declared it a member and street of Barcelona. In the first century of the Roman Empire the estates around it made wine for export, and in the nineteenth century its granite was cut into cobblestones, many sold to Barcelona. About 18,100 people live there today.

Torre Sever is set among woodland and Mediterranean countryside at Caldes de Montbui, with lawns, gardens and a long fountain pool in front of the house. For guests with a free day, the monastery of Sant Miquel del Fai is 20 kilometres from the town, Montserrat 65 and the Costa Brava 70.

The ceremony in the forest

The ceremony takes place in the forest. Wooden benches stand in a sandy clearing among the trees, and a path runs down through the woods to the first row. At the front an arch is set against the trunks, dressed with white flowers and, in some set-ups, a drape of white voile. Rugs are laid along the aisle in some of them.

The setting is intimate, with the benches integrated into the forest.

The ceremony is charged separately from the wedding package. Its fee covers a welcome drink, the decoration, an officiant, coordination and sound.

Drinks in the gardens

After the ceremony the wedding moves to the gardens. The aperitif runs for up to two hours, on the lawn and under a covered pavilion strung with lights, with tall tables set out beside the grass. Food carts serve the aperitif.

The pavilion is open-sided and roofed, with timber posts and lights strung along its edge, and the lawn runs out in front of it.

Dinner in the hall or under the trees

Dinner is served in one of two settings. The hall has large glass windows, so the woodland is in view from the tables, and long wooden tables dressed with flowers run down its length beneath strings of lights. It is also where the toasts and speeches are made when dinner is held indoors.

Outdoors, Mediterranean dinners are laid beneath the trees and strings of lights, on long shared tables or on a looser mix of long and round tables. A stone terrace wall stands behind some of the round tables, and candles and greenery run down the long ones after dark. The package includes a Plan B for bad weather, with room for up to 190 guests.

The party

The evening continues in a dedicated party space with its own bar and DJ booth. The package includes the DJ, the sound and the lighting for the whole celebration, and two hours of open bar at the disco, with drinks unlimited for that time. A late-night snack can be added as an extra. The room has a lighting rig over the DJ booth and a blue-panelled bar beside it.

The kitchen

Torre Sever cooks for its own weddings, and no one else cooks for them. The estate has its own kitchen and wedding team, outside caterers are not allowed, and the estate does not offer venue-only hire.

The cooking draws on Catalan tradition and local ingredients, with a contemporary hand. Couples build their own menu, choosing the appetisers, the starters, the main courses and the wedding cake, and the format can run from a full multi-course dinner to a lighter run of dishes and bites.

The cake is made by a pastry chef who specialises in weddings, with attention to flavour and to how it looks on the table.

What it costs

These are guide prices for 2027, and they exclude VAT. A wedding package starts from EUR 145 per adult in the off season and from EUR 160 per adult in peak season, with a minimum of 80 adults. The woodland ceremony is an extra EUR 1,050.

The minimum is a payment, not a head count. A wedding of 50 adults pays for 80. The difference can be offset against extras from the estate, up to EUR 1,500, for example a photo booth, the getting-ready rooms or a late-night snack.

The package includes:

  • exclusive use of the estate, with one wedding a day
  • venue rental
  • a personalised menu
  • the DJ, sound and lighting throughout the celebration
  • two hours of open bar at the disco
  • the estate’s coordination team on the day
  • decorated areas and a selection of centrepieces
  • furniture, tableware and linens
  • menu and seating-plan stationery
  • a Plan B for bad weather
  • the full professional team

Planning and booking

An enquiry starts with an email, a WhatsApp message or a call, and couples are also welcome to visit. The estate keeps separate contact lines for national and international weddings, and its pages are published in Catalan, Spanish and English. A German and Catalan couple who married there in May 2025 organised the day from Germany, with only a couple of visits in person.

Most suppliers are the couple’s own choice: photographers, florists and other professionals can be brought in. The exceptions are the DJ, the wedding cake and the children’s monitors, which the estate supplies itself. With the coordination team, the full professional team and a Plan B all inside the package, the guest list, the menu and the extras are the main decisions that remain.

Dates are subject to availability and seasonal pricing applies, so a quotation for a particular date and guest number comes from the estate.

Where guests stay

There are no rooms on the estate. Accommodation is about ten minutes away: restored Catalan masias and country villas, which suit families and groups, boutique hotels, and smaller places in Caldes de Montbui itself. Torre Sever is a day venue: the wedding is held here and guests sleep elsewhere. The couple have two private rooms on the estate for getting ready and for keeping their belongings, available for an additional charge and open to them through the celebration.

Getting there

The estate is at kilometre 16 of the C-59, in Caldes de Montbui. Barcelona is about thirty minutes away by car and Barcelona Airport about forty. By road, Caldes de Montbui is reached on the C-59 from Mollet or from Moià, on the C-1415a from Granollers and on the C-1413a from Sabadell. Sagalés buses link Barcelona with the town, with the regular line 201 and the express e9 by motorway, and the night bus N70 from Plaça Urquinaona. Further lines connect the town with Sabadell, Granollers, Mollet and Moià. The town itself is 30 kilometres from Barcelona, and the estate lies on the C-59 within its municipality. Our view

Torre Sever is a day venue priced per adult. The package covers music, sound, lighting, stationery, furniture, tableware and two hours of open bar, and what sits outside it is the ceremony fee, any extras and the guests’ beds.

The terms are firm. A wedding of fewer than eighty adults pays for eighty, no one sleeps on the estate, and its kitchen is the only kitchen. Within them, one team looks after one wedding at a time, from the forest ceremony to the party.

A German and Catalan couple who married at Torre Sever organised the day from Germany, with only a couple of visits in person. The estate welcomes visits from couples planning their own. The Torre Sever listing has the practical details and the enquiry form.
