About Villa Cimbrone

Hotel Villa Cimbrone is a historic villa hotel in Ravello, set in more than eight hectares of gardens redesigned in the early 1900s, with a Michelin-listed restaurant, a swimming pool and a private helipad.

Hotel Villa Cimbrone stands on a rocky outcrop above Ravello, in an estate of more than eight hectares that has been recorded since the 11th century. The gardens were redesigned at the start of the 20th century, after Ernest William Beckett, later Lord Grimthorpe, bought the estate in 1904, and the Vuilleumier family has restored the property as a hotel and botanical garden. Rooms and suites keep frescoed ceilings, stone fireplaces and majolica floors from the late 1800s, with views of the sea or the gardens.

Weddings use the gardens and the refined rooms of the villa, among the terraced gardens and the belvedere known as the Terrace of Infinity. An events team helps choose suppliers and assists on the day, including the pairing of dishes and wines. Il Flauto di Pan, the hotel's restaurant, cooks with produce from the villa's organic gardens, and the old stone-vaulted cellar holds the wine collection. The hotel also has an outdoor pool with a solarium and a private helipad.
