Why marry in Ravello?
Ravello sits 350 metres above the Amalfi Coast, perched on a ridge between two valleys with views that drop directly to the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is not a beach town, it is a hill town that happens to overlook the most beautiful coastline in Italy. This elevation is what makes Ravello different from every other town on the Amalfi drive.
The gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are the reason Ravello is considered the finest wedding location on the Amalfi Coast. The Terrace of Infinity at Villa Cimbrone, a classical belvedere with stone busts looking out over a view that drops to the sea, is one of the most recognisable wedding photography locations in the world.
Ravello's small size means its wedding calendar is genuinely limited. The number of premium ceremony slots at the great villas is finite. Peak-season Saturday ceremonies at Villa Cimbrone or Rufolo book years in advance.
