Aris Papachristou and Belli Momenti

Belli Momenti is based on Corfu and plans weddings across the island and in nearby Ionian places including Paxos, Parga, Preveza and Acheron. It plans religious, interfaith, symbolic, unity, civil and same sex weddings, and also offers microweddings, elopements and pre and post wedding events.

Aris Papachristou founded the company. A native of Corfu, he studied health services and communication and public relations, spent years working abroad, and returned home to build a business in destination weddings, catering and coordination. He acts as creative director and wedding designer, and as a qualified celebrant he can officiate symbolic ceremonies for couples.

The company offers one stop planning and design, from invitations, florals and tablescapes to catering, entertainment, transport and guest travel. It keeps a select list of approved vendors but no strict list of venues, so couples can choose the places they want, from villas and palaces to taverns and beaches.

Recent weddings have taken place at Villa Sylva, Danilia Village, the Achilleion Palace, Kaizer's Throne, the Corfu Golf Club, Ekaterini Estate and an olive grove on Paxos. The company's weddings have been published by Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, WedLuxe, Once Wed and Wedding Chicks among others.

From the first message to the day itself

  1. 01Enquiry and consultation

    Couples contact the team and book a free consultation to get to know the company and receive its services and investment proposal.

  2. 02Contract and booking fee

    Once the couple accepts the proposal, they sign a contract and pay the booking fee to secure the date.

  3. 03Design and planning proposal

    After the booking deposit clears, the team sends an initial design and planning proposal, usually within two to three weeks.

  4. 04Planning consultations

    Several consultations follow to settle the details, with a design brief, timeline, inspiration board and colour palettes for each stage of the wedding.

  5. 05The wedding

    The team coordinates suppliers and manages the day. The final planning fee deposit is due two weeks before the wedding date.

Planning a destination wedding from Canada

Planning a destination wedding from Canada felt overwhelming (and almost impossible) at first, but finding Aris at Belli Momenti was the best decision we made! From our very first calls, he made us feel completely at ease. When we flew to Corfu and met him in person to tour venues, it honestly felt like meeting up with a friend. He embodies that incredible Greek hospitality! Warm, genuine, and so welcoming. We trusted him instantly. Aris and Nafsika truly handled everything. Throughout the entire planning process, I felt like I barely had to lift a finger. Every detail was taken care of so thoughtfully and professionally. By the time our wedding day arrived back in October, everything was absolutely perfect. It looked like it came straight out of your dream wedding Pinterest board. Every vendor he recommended was also amazing. Not only incredibly talented, but wonderful people to work with. We cannot recommend Belli Momenti enough. If you are planning a wedding in Corfu, especially from abroad, you will be in the best hands.
