Alba Greco

Alba Greco began her career in the family business and, after twelve years, trained as a wedding planner in Rome and went on to specialist courses in event planning and floral design. A period living in the Netherlands, packing flowers at the Naaldwijk auction, gave her a working knowledge of varieties, seasons and how long stems last. She opened her agency in 2015, and from 2016 has worked as wedding planner for the Marina di Stabia yacht club.

The company is based in Castellammare di Stabia and works most often on the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri), the Sorrentine Peninsula, Capri, Ischia, Procida, Naples and Caserta. It also plans weddings elsewhere in Italy, and couples living abroad are guided through video calls, email and a small number of planned meetings.

Design is led by a principle the team calls less is more: balance and harmony in the scene rather than added ornament. Each wedding is presented as watercolour illustrations and a technical project, then built in the company's own creative lab, where scenography, stationery and favours are made by hand to match the mood of the event.

Four suppliers are part of the company's own staff and are used on every wedding: a florist, a printer, a graphic designer and a set designer. Other suppliers, such as venues, caterers, music and photographers, are chosen with the couple from a shortlist. A team of coordinators, hospitality managers and hostesses runs the day.
