Les Cigales is a live band created by Jean Pierre Sebagh, who remains its founder and director. It plays for private and corporate clients and has grown from a band into an artistic agency, composing line-ups of singers and musicians to suit each event.
The team is based in the Marais in Paris and describes its work as international. For weddings it plays from the ceremony through the cocktail hour to the dancefloor, and it has performed at destination weddings such as one in Ibiza.
Three formations are offered. The pop live band is a contemporary, energetic show. The chic live band is made up of musicians and singers, with brass and violins at its centre, for a more refined atmosphere. DJ live electro mixes a DJ with musicians and singers for a club-style dancefloor.
Each wedding is built around the couple's own songs and moments, and the set is shaped to hold the energy of a room from the first note to the last. As an agency, Les Cigales can also coordinate the music with the caterer, video team, performers and decorator, and take a large event from a blank page.
