From a band to an artistic agency

Les Cigales is a live band created by Jean Pierre Sebagh, who remains its founder and director. It plays for private and corporate clients and has grown into an artistic agency, composing line-ups of singers and musicians to suit each event. The team is based in the Marais in Paris and describes its work as international, with destination weddings such as one in Ibiza.

Three formations

The pop live band is a contemporary, energetic show. The chic live band is made up of musicians and singers, with brass and violins at its centre, for a more refined atmosphere. DJ live electro mixes a DJ with musicians and singers for a club-style dance floor.

Built around the couple

For a wedding the music runs from the ceremony through the cocktail hour to the dance floor. Each set is built around the couple’s own songs and the moments they want to mark. A wedding orchestra, a violin soloist and a brass quintet are available for the ceremony, the cocktail and dinner, and show formats include a disco night, a classic jazz night and dance shows.

The agency

The agency coordinates with the caterer, the video team, performers and the decorator, and designs and produces larger events. Fees are quoted per event after a call, depending on the formation, the number of musicians and the venue. The band has its own YouTube channel with its films.
