Taormina Weddings is a destination wedding agency with an office on Piazza Sant'Antonio Abate in Taormina. It plans weddings in the town itself and organises events anywhere else in Sicily, for couples who are mostly travelling from abroad: its published client reviews come from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland, France, Norway and elsewhere.
Mariangela Spinella founded the agency in 2015 and leads every wedding as project manager. She is Sicilian, studied Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Perugia, worked in the Canary Islands and then spent fourteen years as Banqueting Manager at a luxury hotel in Taormina. The agency puts her career total at about 1,000 events, at least 700 of them weddings. She works in Italian and English.

The agency describes its job as design and production as well as planning: it proposes ideas, books every supplier and arranges the days around the wedding, from accommodation and welcome cocktails to boat trips, wine tastings on Etna and helicopter flights to the Aeolian Islands. It handles the paperwork for civil and religious ceremonies for foreign couples, and arranges symbolic ceremonies, vow renewals and elopements.
Its portfolio covers Catholic ceremonies in baroque churches, a chuppah on a terrace above the sea, a South Asian ceremony on the beach below the town, and dinners in villa gardens under strung lights. The site offers six themes as starting points (Traditional, La Dolce Vita, The Godfather, Seaside, Country and Baroque), and each wedding is then made to measure.
