A hotel across three historic palaces on Riva degli Schiavoni, with a rooftop restaurant over the Venetian lagoon, steps from Piazza San Marco
Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel occupies three connected palaces on the Venice waterfront, with 120 rooms and suites, a rooftop terrace restaurant and noble floor salons for wedding celebrations.
Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel stands on Riva degli Schiavoni, a few steps from Piazza San Marco, the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Basilica. The hotel is formed of three interconnecting palaces from the 15th, 19th and 20th centuries, and its 120 rooms and suites look over the lagoon or the streets and canals around it. The interiors were restored under the French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, with Venetian fabrics, glass, terrazzo and marble.
Wedding celebrations are held within the hotel in the Palazzo Dandolo lobby, in the salons of the first and second noble floors and at Restaurant Terrazza Danieli on the roof, which has indoor and outdoor seating and views across the whole lagoon. Ceremonies and symbolic blessings usually take place at venues elsewhere in the city, which the hotel's event team can suggest. A specialty suite can serve as a bridal suite, and make-up artists and hairstylists can be arranged. The kitchen cooks regional Venetian dishes, and the event team plans the itinerary, flowers, decor and menu with each couple, from a Friday welcome reception to a farewell brunch on Sunday.

The Danieli is made up of three interconnecting palaces dating from the 15th, 19th and 20th centuries. Palazzo Dandolo was built in the late 1400s as a private home for the Doge Enrico Dandolo, and it became a hotel in 1822. Palazzo Casa Nuova, once the city's treasury, joined it in 1855, and the Excelsior wing followed in 1950.

Celebrations gather in the Palazzo Dandolo lobby, in the salons of the first and second noble floors, and on the rooftop, where Restaurant Terrazza Danieli looks across the lagoon in every direction. The Doge Dandolo Royal Suite can also host a small gathering.

A typical destination wedding here runs as a welcome reception on Friday, the main celebration on Saturday and a farewell brunch or lunch before departure on Sunday. The Four Seasons event team designs the itinerary, decor, flowers and menu around the couple.
