Vila Bled stands in a private park on the shore of Lake Bled in the Slovenian Alps. It was a summer residence of Yugoslav president Tito. It is now a boutique hotel of 31 rooms and suites furnished in the style of the 1950s, with a Finnish sauna, a private lake beach in summer and rowing boats from its own boathouse.
Civil ceremonies are held in the park in front of the villa for up to 100 guests, or in the park behind for up to 30, with an indoor location in case of rain. The wedding dinner can be set in the Atrium or the Concert Hall for 70 guests at round tables, or in the Restaurant for 56. A later party can move to the Belvedere Pavilion, which stands on thirty-metre pillars with a view of Bled Island. The kitchen is run by JGZ Brdo, whose chefs trained at the Brdo protocol estate, and a wedding coordinator plans the day from the first meeting. Arrival by boat, a pletna ride to the island and live music can be arranged on request.
