Sandals Royal Caribbean is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort on the coast at Montego Bay, Jamaica. The resort is now named Sandals Caribbean Cay and is closed for refurbishment until its reopening on 18 December 2026. The works add a larger pool, a new Jamaican restaurant and a beach club on the private island. A short boat ride of about five minutes leads from the main resort to that offshore island, which has its own beach, pool and whirlpool, two dining experiences and evening entertainment.
Accommodation ranges from beachfront and poolside suites to overwater villas and bungalows moored off the island, some with glass floor panels and private pools. Ten restaurants and five bars serve Jamaican jerk, Italian, Indian, seafood and British pub dishes, and guests can also use the restaurants and bars at nearby Sandals Montego Bay. Scuba diving for certified divers, snorkelling, sailing and paddle boarding are part of the stay.
Couples can marry on the beach, and the Sandals wedding team plans the ceremony and celebration. Round-trip airport transfers from Sangster International Airport are included.
